AMERICAN EXPRESS
Coordinated merchant promotion in conjunction with the 2006 and 2007 Napa Valley Mustard Festivals.
Coordinated special VIP events for American Express Cardmembers in conjunction with the Napa Valley Mustard Festival.
Results: Increases in American Express sales have been reported by merchant partners; VIP events were well attended.


DEERFIELD RANCH WINERY
Press kit development and media campaign.
Results: Pitching inital press releases with excellent response; press kit in progress.


NAPA VALLEY MUSTARD FESTIVAL
Event design, coordination, and production.
Marketing, promotion and advertising campaigns for the annual Napa Valley Mustard Festival, since 1994. The promotion includes food, wine, art, and entertainment events.
Recruitment, coordination, and management of an extensive list of national and regional corporate sponsors.
Box office management.
Results: Prior to the Napa Valley Mustard Festival, 7% of visitation to Napa Valley took place during the months of January, February, and March. By 1996, 27% of visitation took place during these months. Print clippings and television coverage are valued in the millions of dollars, each year. The off season in Napa Valley is now "The Mustard Season."


SALSA TRADING COMPANY
Press kit development and media campaign.
Production of electronic press kit DVD.
Results: Excellent media coverage since intitial press kit was released in late 2007.


SONOMA FOIE GRAS / ARTISAN FOIE GRAS
Assisted with new product launches.
Consultation, promotion and marketing of products.
Results: Sonoma Foie Gras grew from a small producer of foie gras to a prominent business with national distribution and recognition.

COUNTY OF LAKE, CALIFORNIA
Public relations, promotions, brand and image development, and graphic design for the County of Lake Marketing Department.
Press kit development and media campaign.
Results: Secured stories in numerous publications including Sunset and VIA, the two top publications targeted for this short-term campaign.


THE FAIRMONT SONOMA MISSION INN & SPA
Designed and produced public relations and promotions campaign for: The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, Santé, and The Big 3
Developed a program for local community relations.
New press kit development and media relations.
Promotion of special events.
Developed non-profit partnerships with local organizations including, Sonoma Community Center and the YWCA Safe House for women and their families.
Results: Successfully helped integrate Fairmont Hotels and Resorts into the local community. Developed numerous succesful promotions and partnerships including the "Pixar Suite" with Pixar Studios to benefit Make a Wish Foundation. Secured numerous stories, features, and television segments including Food Network. Wine Country Living, and Evening Magazine.


HILTON - SONOMA WINE COUNTRY
& NECTAR RESTAURANT
Assisted with grand re-opening event and press event.
Developed tagline, press kit, and launch materials.
Results: Hosted a successful grand opening event for press and secured stories in targeted publications.


NAPA VALLEY WINE TRAIN

ONE WORLD WINE FOR AIDS/SUNCÉ WINERY
Produced press kit.
Results: Promoted a successful launch in San Francisco and secured Karel of KGO Newstalk AM 810 as media host.


SANTA ROSA BMW MOTORCYCLES
Developed press releases, newsletter, and invitations for a move to a new location; assisted with and promoted the Grand Opening; assisted with and marketed a promotional event; and provided photographic services for website development and PR campaign.
Developed partnership with the Junior League of Napa/Sonoma and organized fundraising for the KINS project (Kinship Initiative Network of Service), the league's Signature Project.


SILVERADO RESORT
Developed press kit.
Launched and managed press campaign for The Grill at Silverado.
Produces press event .
Results: Excellent press coverage. The opening of the Grill at Silverado was an unprecedented success according to Dan Edson, Director of Sales at Silverado.


SONOMA SALUTE TO THE ARTS
Founded by Summers-McCann in 1985. Produced by Summers-McCann since the inagural event in 1986.
Recruitment, coordination, and management of national sponsors.
Design and production of all events: Salute Celebration, Salute to the Arts, and Salute to the Arts Dinner & Live Auction.
Box office management.
Design and production of marketing materials, press kits and advertisements.
Results: Salute to the Arts is considered by many to be one of the nation's highest quality events, drawing an international clientele of food, wine, and art connoisseurs. The event provides exposure and funding for approximately 20 non-profit arts organizations each year.
The event is currently in transition, and being revamped for possible production in 2010.


SONOMA SAVEURS
New restaurant launch included image and brand development, press kit and media relations.
In charge of marketing, advertising, public relations campaigns, and press events.
Results: Secured substantial local, regional, and national publicity.


VENTANA INN & SPA
Designed and produced public relations and promotions campaign for: Ventana Inn & Spa, Cielo Restaurant at Ventana Inn & Spa, and The Allegria Spa at Ventana
Press kit development and media campaign.
Coordinated Photographic and Modeling Services.
Results: Secured substantial local, regional and national publicity.


VISA U.S.A.
Coordination, promotion, and production of the VISA U.S.A. Wine Country Destination Program, "Visa - It's Everywhere You Want To Be In The Wine Country," 1995 - 2003.
